In your page / site there is meta description and meta keyword. Right click and "view page source" for firefox browser. See meta description and meta keywords inside of <head>…</head>
Some people say this parts is very important. Meta description will tell to search engine about description of the page. And meta keywords tell about the target keyword thats we used in the page.
My opinion this part is not too important. why ? because when search engine crawl your page, search engine not see the meta as something that special one. Your content that can see by human is target the search engine when it index your page. Because finally search engine show the result indexed page to human, so something that loked by human is more important that something looked by search engine. This meta very important if your page consist of flash, picture or javascript. Because search engine can not "see" what flash tell about, so search engine will take the meta as something that descripe about the picture.
So we can say good bye for meta description and meta keywords. But you can not say to <title>, because title is very important. we can say it compulsory part in your site.
